Hi Bülent! It looks interesting with the wave table synthesis and I guess 3.0 will be a very interesting upgrade. Maybe this question been asked before but when is the planned release for v2.9?

Best of luck with the coding and testing.

Too bad I can't get the alpha/beta's. :( The beta site is unsecured connection (http, not https) and I will not input sensitive data (S/N) there!

You just couldn't wait ... could you? :hihi: - can't wait to play around with it.

Again, my last and only remaining feature request for SM 2.9 would be a more eye-friendly GUI. Could be the same layout but with less saturated colors and dark lettering on a brighter background - like on the vintage modules in Ozone 7 - less strain on my ageing eyes.

If somehow you manage to do both in this version, kudos to you.

Hi Richard

There will be bug fixes too. Like the MSEG sync issue. I am also hoping to fix the older (pre 2.7) presets not sounding correctly bug.
Hi Bulent, that would be great. I assume you will go thru the bug list and try to fix most things.
thanks

Not that I am aware of, but I assume Bulent has been tabulating bugs reported here and emails etc.

OK, thanks! The only reason I asked is that it would be useful to know if I ran across something. If it has already been reported, I could ignore and work around ...

I have seen a few things reported here, but time and memory moves on ...

I am going to release v2.9 Alpha2 version tomorrow. and hopefuly next week we'll have the beta version.

As I said before, wavetable editing features will be part of v3.0, but so far this should be sufficient now.

Each osc has up to 128 slots, and you can load and waveform/wavetable into any slot.
I gotta admit, that there got me a little bit excited! :tu:

In the meantime, please include a soundbank that shows off the new feature. Otherwise, this will be lost on 90% of your users.

This is really cool. I thought we'd have to wait for 3.0 for wavetables. I'm looking forward to this.

Wow, thank you so much for that great feature! Please consider though to add up to 256 slots, since is the industry standard and we could possibly be able to use wavetables from other soft synths like: Serum, Falcon, Avenger, Rapid, etc...
