that was an epic launch failure. :bang:

Now the issue is fixed, get the Windows version here:

Background: Release build optimization has killed some initializations in the constructors... :x

Bjorn, don't be too hard on yourself. I can't build an oscillator, let alone a whole synth. Glad you fixed the problem.

I am curious about something if you don't mind me asking.

The FB-3300 GUI is obviously huge. And with all the controls, each one is relatively small in order to fit them all on the screen.

My question is this. What size monitor are you using for this and how difficult or easy is it for you to program this thing visually? I'm asking because with my current monitor size and resolution, I'm finding it a bit tough to see the individual control descriptions. I'm wondering if a larger monitor would make the task simpler.

I have a 24'' monitor running on 1920x1080 pixel resolution; for me this works fine and I can fiddle with the controls quite well. The last evenings I created most of the default programs and had a lot of fun. :)

Anyway, I do understand that folks may have problem with the GUI, let it be the size or the controls. But I wanted it on one "page" like the "real" one, so no tabs or subwindows...

Cheers, Björn

Since those three huge block sections seem identical and not GUI-wise linked (for instance via virtual cables), FB could have used 3 tabs and hidden two or at least one block, which would have shrunk the GUI considerably and left more space for making the rest bigger and easier to read.
Then again, FB plugins have never been easy to read, might have to do with the fonts chosen.

Cool. Well, maybe it's time for me to look into a larger monitor. Really looking forward to programming this thing and right now it's a little on the tough side.

Do you have a screen print you could post so I could get an idea of how it looks on a larger screen?

And does it sound like the original? FB synths tend to sound similar to each other and I have no idea what the original sounded like...
