Downloaded it, sounds very nice and juicy in the lower and middle octaves, analog I suppose

Funny, below the lowest bass note, there are very high notes.
The included presets are more on the sound gimmick side, a new synth without zillions of factory presets, should be interesting for sound designers

What I like is that the presets are not too loud, unlike with most synths.

The GUI is very hard for me to read, so I can't really use that synth, though.

That would destroy the aestethics of the synth.

Besides, each block section looks so different - how can you get confused, anc do not recognize the Signal Modifiers when side by side with the Signal Generators?

Anyway, this is a VERY complex synth, and its easy to get lost in it, I agree - but that's not because of the GUI. It's its own nature.

All of Björn's plugins are excellent. But this is a masterpiece!
Blows a lot of expensive stuff out of the water.

Color-coding would make sense.

Anyway, the problem is the fonts, I just compared them to Sylenth1, the 3300's kind of fall apart in comparison. Despite the same size and a better color contrast (white on black vs white on brown) the 3300 is a lot more difficult to read.

But sound-wise I am not really convinced, I guess I would prefer an 8-voice Oberheim as it sounds more musical and warmer.

We are not discussing tastes, are we? This was a beast in its time (older than any polyphonic Oberheim, BTW), with a power and versatility that even today not many synths achieve (and regarding the Oberheims, only the Xpander/Matrix-12 would compete with).

Regarding musicality, anyone can say the same about basically anything. My daughter, for example, considers the piano infinitely more musical than any synth

It's more about easy visual separation than being confused about which section is which. There are 100 dials on the interface not including the microtuning dials. Something that helps draw the eye to the right section is good.

Anyway, it's not a major complaint, just a thought.

I agree with this. It would also help shrink the size of the plug some, which would be fantastic since the thing stretches further than my screen so a chunk of it is cut off.
