There are many ways to identify sounds or express what we absolutely think about it, however, this is a question that really would like to comprehend; I can't understand exactly why someone would call a sound Fat or cold (in some stereotypical way) when I don't think the same nor have sense for me.

some of the ways to explain it is even funny like to call a hipper sawtooth like "hyena laughing" or a sub bass like very "elephant-ish", but if I consider to express the sound in such a way I would need also to have some moderation, I can't say to someone asking me how his track sound: wow yeah, it has some OBESITY PROBLEMS (because is his sound is "fat"). it would be offensive if that person was diagnosed with such problem :? , in addition we want to be in shape right?

what you all think about this?
