Hi

This makes me look like an idiot but:

I can get sound in Tracktion as I normally would (asio drivers) but not in media player or bs player which use other drivers.

video works ok, without sound though.

I haven't changed anything in the last few days/weeks, looking at the sound...in control panel - it all looks normal.

Are you trying to use one without closing the other?

Multiple Applications can't share the same ASIO driver at the same time.

Are you having a 'mad moment'

What have you done - have you gone into Control Panel/Sounds and set up your drivers?

Although you say you have set the drivers, the symptoms sound like *something* is hijacking your audio out carrat.

it's all set (as always) to delta1010 multichannel.

I don't know what's happening but still no sound in WMP or BSplayer. This sucks.

I don't want to do a fresh install of WInXp (waiting to sell my soundcard and instal a USB2 hub first)

Is it possible that it's DirectX's fault?

There is no sound when using Orion demo with DX output, same with Tracktion. ASIO works.
