That's one of the reasons TO buy it. It doesn't sound like anything else. It's great for making noises. For transparent reverbs, there are a thousand other options. (Pro-R is my fave for that).

I bought it and I didn't own Toraverb 1. It sounds good but I didn't buy it for the sound. The ducking feature and the fact that you can sync the pre-delay with the host tempo are two nice features. I would say this reverb is over all more a creative type of plugin, as Tekturon.

That's what I just wanted write :D
I love to use Toraverb for a nice non intrusive kinda noise floor. No other reverb I have sounds good enough for that. They're too "real", or just really shabby :hihi:

I'll be watching the topic to see if anything comes up that might interest me about it. At the moment, I'm just not convinced that an effect reverb is something I need. :tu:

damn...the 'lushest' (imho) reverb just became more lush (again, imho). I love the update. Great enhancements. Great stereo field possibilities, the EQ is much better this way with the extra modes and seperation of gain for the early and late parameters are really handy.

I was just reminded that I dislike d16's shopping cart system. What is it.. MyCommerce or PayPal or both? PayPal method took me to my account and wouldn't specify the amount charged... which I wasn't comfortable with clicking to go ahead with. Oh well.

An interesting plugin, I haven't used a reverb with this kind of Mid/Side option before. Somehow manages to both stand out and sit within a track at the same time.

A wild experiment with Toraverb 2. Great reverb!

^ Good. :)

It's all your fault. I caved and purchased the upgrade. 8)

the thing is buggy. it doesn't show the amount in paypal then it loops infinitely between the confirmation page and paypal. d16 told me that having a share-it account could resolve the issue, gonna try that later.
pretty ghetto regardless.

Ahhh so it's not just me!

It was automatically converting to my local currency and I think that was the issue with the PayPal method. I changed it to US dollars, entered the coupon and then checked out ok with PayPal (in other words let PayPal handle the currency conversion, not d16's buggy shopping cart).

Strangely it presented me with a Share-It username to go and collect my licenses (generated a new one, didn't recognise I already had a Share-It account) but no matter as I got an email from d16 with serial number which I could register in the User Area of d16's website.

So.... phew - I dunno, it's not as straightforward as it should be and it seems to fall over in places. It seemed to want to charge me VAT too (don't live in the EU).

Nothing like as breezey as, say, Plugin Alliance, Audio Deluxe, JRRshop or basically any other purchasing experience in plugin land.

d16 get your crap together.

Another Toraverb 2 experiment. Sinking Pianoteq in beautiful reverb.

I'm pretty happy with VVV and Adaptiverb, but the upgrade price is so low that I suppose I'll bite.

Though interesting reverb with some it's own character moments (like good lush long tails), but among ones there is cons'es like some increased attack by default, and it's non-adjustable it seems (or i miss something).
And now, increased cpu usage, as was already noted (and switch between normal-draft modes it seems without difference). So, 15 coins it's very good ofcourse, but really - will you use this - difficult to say. I mean when there is a bunch of other good reverbs (and with freeze). In general, a difficult choice.
