FL Studio Not responding and i can't save my project!

I really don't know what to do... I dragged a snare in, opened piano roll placed it and then all of a sudden fl studio is not responding and a pretty much finished project is now sitting there and i cant save it!!! Does anyone know if i can do anything about this???

Usually you have the option to wait and see if it "responds".
Personally I save at least every 10 minutes or so when I am working on something.
