North Americans take note: Europe is currently in Daylight Savings Time -- the change happens on the last Sunday in October (tomorrow) from UTC+2 to UTC+1.
North America changes NEXT week, on the first Sunday in November.
If my math is correct, the auction will end at 6PM Central Daylight Time in North America. But please doublecheck with the official time from the link in the first post.

I think just going to Google and typing in CET Time, will let everybody know what time it is in Central Europe and then they can look at their own clock and figure it out from there. At least that's what I'm going to do.foosnark wrote:North Americans take note: Europe is currently in Daylight Savings Time -- the change happens on the last Sunday in October (tomorrow) from UTC+2 to UTC+1.

Saves my brain the headache of trying to do time math. Right now, CET time is 3:11 PM. It's currently 10:11 AM on the East Coast. On the 31st, I'm assuming it will be 4:11 right now CET time and thus a 6 hour difference instead of 5 hours.
Correct?

You can use Google to check the difference: https://www.google.pl/search?q=differen ... East+Coastwagtunes wrote:
Correct?
It gives the difference and the times in the both timezones.

Yeah, this stuff is somehow extremely confusing for something that really should just be simple arithmetic. I'm definitely going to look online when the time comes to make sure. But some people might have to schedule things in advance (getting off work or staying late to stick to the computer, dinner plans, Halloween stuff etc.)wagtunes wrote:I think just going to Google and typing in CET Time, will let everybody know what time it is in Central Europe and then they can look at their own clock and figure it out from there. Thanks foosnark. Though I will double check on the actual day, I did figure I'd be home from work. Now I'll plan to leave early. I'm glad you mentioned it.

It's actually better just to make the bid you want early. Every year a few people get butthurt when their bid does not get in do to heavy traffic. Then act like d-bags as if Luftrum can somehow magically make the internet work better.foosnark wrote:Yeah, this stuff is somehow extremely confusing for something that really should just be simple arithmetic.
