MIDI keyboard, onboard sounds, USB powered, small but 49key

OK... This is for someone who likes, occasionally, to play piano. Ideally the keys would be no more than two thirds full size but better than half size. I've put USB powered as it's meant to be plug in and go, without searching for mains adaptors, etc. (We've plenty of mains to USB leads.) I think it should do MIDI over USB, too, because one day... you know... they'll want it. If it does audio over USB for the built in sound out, that's good to have, too.
I really have no idea where to start looking for this. I'm not looking for "top studio quality sounds"... just better than the current one (it can't hold pitch if you press two notes... ugh). So a step up from "toy".
All ideas welcome - availability in the UK a key advantage.

Awesome price on this Korg ... but probably too big?
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Korg-Taktile-T ... B00I60BZPA
Yamaha DX100 has 49 mini-keys, but (of course) no USB. There don't seem to be many 49 mini-key synths out there.

Yeah, nice bit of kit that Korg -- but yes, a bit above the level I was aiming for
.
Love the comment on the DX100: "It is most renowned for its great analog bass sound (Patch #01) that is awesome for techno, house, jungle, and acid music styles; it's very gritty, the bass tone with gristle! However, any other preset sounds that you'll find in the DX100 are pretty bad and require editing for anything else useable." Piano!
The minimum really is USB power, onboard piano sounds, small-ish keys.
(Dammit, the best hit for my search on Google is already this thread!!)

Maybe one of the Yamaha Reface series keyboards, but they only have 37 keys.

It's a shame the Reface CS doesn't have "just a piano", otherwise that looks like it could pass. The price is rather higher than I'd been hoping, though, so that pretty much rules it out.
The Minilogue is way too complicated.
The X-Key -- couldn't see one with on-board sounds.

Yes, I saw. The UK price is, as I said just above your post, higher than I'd hope and pretty much rules it out.
Let's put it like this. The current one cost under £10. I'm looking for under £100 as a replacement.

Mine's an Alesis Q25. Way cheaper now that when I got mine. There are probably better ones.
[W10-64, T5/6/7/W8/9/10/11/12/13, 32(to W8)&64 all, Spike],[W7-32, T5/6/7/W8, Gina16] everything underused.

Nice spot on the roll up, thanks. I'll do a bit of research on that one.
The Casio SA-46, mentioned on its page, looks a better bit of kit somehow, despite only be 32 note. Shame it's also got no MIDI.
Neither is USB powered... I really don't understand why these things continue to come with their own power adapters when pretty much everyone has mains to USB chargers (don't they?). Blearrgh...
But yes, that's definitely more the kind of thing I was thinking of.
