Soundiron Mercury Symphonic Boys Choir bidding history so far:
2017/10/28 12:22 yotamlifshitz... $25
2017/10/28 13:43 Holmwoody..... $50
2017/10/28 16:29 thejonsolo...... $100
2017/10/29 02:23 husker37........ $20
2017/10/29 09:08 markorphee.... $50
No, I understand perfectly. I bid a lower amount after someone bid a higher amount - its not rocket science. I'm not at all worried about it, though some here really seem to be.

It is not that some "worry" about it. It is that it makes more work for Luftrum. He has specifically requested that we go back to his last update and scan the bids to determine how we should bid. And he does this multiple times every year. One of the requirements to participate in this charitable event is to carefully read the instructions on the first page and follow through.
But mistakes do happen. This is a charity. Graciousness isn't just shown in how we offer our money and products, but also in how we deal with others. A simple "sorry, my mistake" would shut everyone up.

This was my first bid on a KVR auction - I clearly missed the part about scanning through all the bids.thejonsolo wrote:It is not that some "worry" about it. I agree - perhaps you should take your own advise.thejonsolo wrote:Graciousness isn't just shown in how we offer our money and products, but also in how we deal with others.
And with that, I'm done. This is a charity auction thread, not some thread to get into some worthless argument.

I have since I have been at KVR. If you feel I have not, then I am sorry. I never made any snide remarks about any of this. I simply pointed to the rules for your consideration. You will never find me in the middle of drama.husker37 wrote: I agree - perhaps you should take your own advise.
And I certainly have no argument here with you. Please go back and read my posts. My considerations are toward this charity.
