If I can put my 2 cents in, the advice to bid early on the last day is obviously good advice as you don't want to be shut out from the auction in the last few minutes because of server issues. However, placing a bid several hours before the auction ends doesn't mean you stop keeping track of what is going on. The likelihood of your bid holding up will be pretty slim. That means someone outbid you which means more money for the kids. This will then be YOUR chance to increase your bid yet again. Sure, you may not get it in because of increased traffic. But you might. And that also means more money for the kids. In 2015 when I won my only auction for these things, the last 20 minutes were insane. Honestly, I don't even know how I pulled it out. But I wouldn't have had I not been vigilant and kept refreshing the page.
So place your bids early, but don't quit. Because every last minute bid means more money for the kids.
Right now we're about $5,000 under 2015's final figure and $6,000 under 2016's. Let's see if we can't beat them both.

Perhaps from here on to the finish, we all might regulate ourselves to,wagtunes wrote:If I can put my 2 cents in... place your bids.
"don't comment without a bid"? Just to keep unnecessary 'farking' down to a minimum?
In keeping with that, I'll bid;
Soundiron; Mercury Symphonic Boys Choir: $120

Hi,
how does bidding for hardware stuff work? Who pays for shipping? How do you calculate the shipping costs?

Just a little bump for the raffle I am hosting: Of all $10 donations I receive via the PayPal button on the frontpage of luftrum.com, I will find a winner who will receive a copy of Lunaris Monday evening - and that's some 6-8 hours away from now.

An idiot on Set Theory:

I think the confusion was due to bharris22 multiple bids and self-outbidsLuftrum wrote: Teenage Engineering
