unfortunately for them the dongle is not a one trick pony - so hypersonic 1.1 and halion 3 have not been cracked - they both use exactly the same dongle
the update will include the vst 3 spec - including a defined way of putting in side-chains (i hope), better freeze, short cuts and that protocol they were doing with yamaha where you can control external equipment (hopefully using the automation tools)

the thing with the crack of HALion is it has a massive library wich has to be installed in order to run.

I think Cubase SX3 *will* have realtime audio timestretching just like Steinberg remix
That would explain why Ableton released Live 4 in the summer they must have known Steinberg would release SX3 with their audio warp engine and wanted to avoid bringing Live 4 out at the same time as SX3 later this year.

If they did copy Tracktion, at least their choice of sequencers to imitate is impeccable!
