While I think the second place idea is good, will instead think of all of the companies that donated their products for this great cause throughout the year. The ones where I finished second, are on my list for purchases this holiday season. Hopefully these purchased will thank and encourage developers to donate again next year. Thanks again!

I think that a second place may encourage some people not to bid, and come in second. Also I agree that those companies should be rewarded for their participation. I found a few things that I have on a list for the future, and will buy their products. So personally. I like the process the way it is,, even when I lose (which I have... and haven't we all).

And thanks to all who do that hard work behind the scenes and deserve our appreciation.

The other bids were $20 and one at $30... why was I pushed off when the highest bid which was $30 should have pushed off the lowest bid wich was at the time $15.. but mine was replaced and pushed off and the other bidders after my time stap bid the same amount I already bid? That was for the touch the universe bundle?

Yeah it's a bit of a mess, Jazz Mackerel also bid $20 on #5 1 minute after me but ended up getting #3 in front of me .... but not to worry - I'm going to make a separate donation and Touch The Universe has kindly offered another pack, so can you do the same?
