UVI Falcon, how to modulate the gain of a program with ADSR ?

Hello, to illustrate what I would like to do in Falcon, here is the situation. I sampled a drum kit, placed it into keygroup 1. Added some reverb on the layer 1. But I would like to be able to reduce the release of every part of the kit on which i added the reverb. It would be perfect to setup a new adsr envelope that modulates the gain of the overall program, in what case I could be able to precisely set the release, but cannot do that.

At least, i don't know if it's possible, every time I tried, the adsr envelope is not running when hitting the MIDI keyboard so the gain of the program does not modulate. It stay off and I can't hear a sound.

Am I missing a point somewhere ?

You probably found a bug. Can't set up this behaviour, too, though it should be possible. The non working function here is the mod amount (imho). It's visual representation stays the same no matter how large or small you define its range.

Well, my 2ct. Needs more investigation, at least.

If you want per-voice modulation, you need to add it at keygroup level. So, for each sample you mapped, you need an ADSR.

But, you can set up a macro knob that will control release of all those individual envelopes at once.

Wouldn't you normally put multiuple samples under the same keygroup so you would use a single keygroup ADSR?

The only thing I can't figure out about this is how to adjust levels of individual samples (or oscillators for that matter) within a keygrup.

You would, but with drum samples, where you need individual control over certain parameters? Probably not.

You can, it turns out! In the tree view, there's a volume parameter for each of the oscillators you select within a keygroup.

Oh yeah for drum sounds you'd probably want each on a separate keygroup as you'd want a separate ADSR for each anyways. Sort of missed that part.

Good to know about the tree view volume thanks!

Not just volume, there's also per-oscillator pitch parameter. So you can make your own detuned stacks with whatever source material. Sadly no per-osc pan parameter.

The thing is I want the adsr enveloppe to occur AFTER the FX on the layer or the key group, like a reverb for exemple. I know how to parameter an ADSR enveloppe on each key group, but the reverb FX would act after the gain modulation. You see what I mean ?

I want the ADSR enveloppe to operate on a sample on which I add reverb on it.
