This plugin is quite honestly really amazing and convincing for that price. I only wish i could enlarge it.

Hi, I am just testing this and I have a question: it seems like the input gain affests the dry signal. Does that make sense? I feel it makes it harder to set the mix level after I have set the input and output to my liking (usually the same level as when bypassed), because I constantly need to re-adjust the output level to avoid change in the loudness.
Also, it is a bit irritating at first that you need to drag the makeup down to increase the level, whereas usually you need to push faders up to increase volume. Maybe it is explained in the manual, which I didn't read yet as real men don't read manuals.

Apart from that, seems cool and usable, although I am traditionally not a fan of horizontal sliders

When using mousewheel scrolling + alt the parameters (attack,release) don’t change to the hardware ones as when clicking and dragging + alt. The same happens with the auto listen for the filters on the sidechain.

It would be great to always have the same functionality when using the mousewheel scroll than when clicking and dragging

Can you give me an example of a plugin that has this sort of mousewheel behaviour? I don't think I've ever encountered sticky mousewheels, I'm not sure it would feel great as a control so I'd like to try it out before considering implementing.

It is indeed explained in the manual, I'd suggest not using the input gain or turning autogain on if it's causing you to juggle too much.

Yep.

I've been in the habit of simply using the input on the 76 and 2a models. It works fine.

Don't you have to drive the input super hard to get any compression on quieter sources, then? Or even hit the input limit?

I don't have 'quieter sources' at that point in my signal chain. Everything is gainstaged for optimal use of most plug-ins, and then mixed as necessary at the fader level.

Depends, but if you've run out at +18dB then the source is really quiet, you'd just have to move next door to the threshold (or add gain prior). For those models, as Robert rightly points out, the input and threshold are the same thing but it does depend on the source.

Hi Krzysztof,
I’m only asking for the same functionality when scrolling as when clicking and dragging.
I can’t hear the side chain filter in automatic when scrolling but I can hear it when clicking and dragging.
I can’t stick to the hardware parameters when mousewheel scrolling + alt but I can when clicking and dragging + alt.
