Works fine here! Both on Attack and Decay as well as on MSEGs speed (ms), by the way!

Nice soud, but frankly to say not very "light on the CPU", unfortunately. And else one moment - it seemed to me that Release time (in ADSR) very short here even in maximum position ? This is expected feature ? Or here exist some other option for increase release time ?

not sure what some people think of as "light on the CPU", but in my KVR challenge project (yes long time listener, first time caller) I have so far 15 instances of Thorn, nothing else... I'm at 24/48, my CPU meter in Cubase 6.5 is averaging just under 25%. I have a mid-2012 Macbook with a 2.7GHz i7.
but the sound
you wouldn't get this depth with any other soft synth i dare say, maybe bar Reaktor.
the density.
amazing sound. 15 instances, CPU around 25%. I really don't see how that's heavy on the CPU. If it was, it would be choking by now. but at no time in the track does the CPU spike over 30% on the meter. That's pretty good in my book. I might get 30 instances for under half my processing power. that's nothing to pffft at.
admittedly i don't use a lot of unison, but you get what you pay for yeah.
If you want these huge unison sounds, you get a hefty CPU tax. Same with every other synth!
shit, run through the presets of a single instance of Diva for example, it won't be long till you play something that completely shreds the processor.

Processor quite old, Core2Quad (2.83GHz), but i take into account cpu usage of other synths, via compare. So, many modern synths quite lightweight for my cpu nonetheless. And yes, i mean measurement of cpu usage primarily during increased unisson in oscilators (Is this not one of the most interesting feature in such synths type?)

There is a (cpu) tax on quality. My preferred synths are all quite taxing. There is no free lunch.

Indeed. Besides, I'm used to freezing and sampling my synth sounds anyway. It's just a fact of life for me.

i've actually had a bit of a unison day today... yeah it starts sucking down the juice for sure.
but using Thorn without the unison is quite efficient in my experience.
I guess it sucks for the DnB producers and the like... the supersaw aficionados maybe?...
I don't own Dune to compare this to (which I'm under the impression was possibly the best sounding in this department), but i'd be interested to know what the unison in Thorn sounds like compared to other synths. In your opinions.
I guess unison is something I've always steered away from simply because of the this fact of CPU tax. and my hardware synths just don't have it
always something to explore

I'm not complaining in general, the cpu usage in Dmitry's synths not a surprise for me. But i just do not quite agree about applicability term lightweight for cpu what mention in product page, nothing more than.

Not completely off topic, as you mentioned Dune and unison.
Richard, who programmed Dune, uses SSE in his The Legend vst so that 4 voices are computed in parallel.
This seriously reduces cpu tax. So there are some nice tricks one can do.

Just fishing through the mod matrix, amazed by the targets available therein. You can modulate the "F1" switch in the filter, the filter MODE?! Then you have Glitch Sequencer and Arp targets. The ability to modulate each and every step! Wow. This might be the most powerful mod matrix I've seen yet.

Btw, exactly mentioned Dune (1 and 2) really light for my cpu. Though i should admit that unisson in Thorn i liked more. As well, Largo the same lightweight for me (but what regarding his unisson quality, here ambiguous moment - I would not call it no better and no worse, just other, with his own character).
