Ok, voted.

How can you vote so fast :D . I have tried to check tracks even before voting and still not able to finish voting. So many tracks and after a while I got lost in sounds. So I rather listen everyday few times in order to really do the job right.

Yes, I agree.... some tracks need to be heard a few times to "GET" the sounds.. and then to hear what the guy is expressing.. and so many good ideas..
I have voted just 9 or 10 now... and loving it, another dimension to the whole OSC thang )))

I dunno, but I feel like I'm hearing a lot more distortion and modulation than this synth "provides"...just curious.
Just a touch of EQ and a tickle of compression

Not on mine, I hope  , as the only effect which could change the sound (other than EQ!) was a very mild use of Ferric on the master. NO compression on any track or master. :tu:

Gonna take some time to digest all these tracks and vote ... :dog:

Haha, no DB. Not talking automation, just crazy, fuzzed out Marshalls, big trippy verbs and nasty growl basses. I loved them, but Zebralette doesn't seem to come stocked with that goodness. I found the wavetables to be bland and the FX to be blander...probably just me though.

What!!!.. Oh yes it does all that and more... )))
All the spectral FX and the order in which you place them and modulate them...
Importing or drawing your own wavs and manipulating them..
Creative use of the delay using very fast delay times and feedback ..
the list goes on and on..
For a one osc synth it is way up on my list of favs
One thing this Wee_Baby_Zebra is not>> Bland
Spend some time with her... feel her.. love her and she will love you back...
:tu:

HAHAHA! Okay, okay!! I think the importing wavetables thing may have been what I was missing out on. As for the delay, I relied heavy on it for stereo spread. I was more baffled by the spectral fx, not the chorus, phaser, phorus (THAT WAS A FIRST) and delay....those were great. this is why I'm here....to get set straight!

If you have time and are interested on page 24 I attached a preset that shows other uses for the delay apart from the expected spread and d..d..d___e..eLa...y. This preset uses a very simple wav.. most of the work is done with the delay... {preset CongaTwangyBaking)
it was designed for a narrow key range.. like C3 (note no 48) to about G3...
When you turn off delay it sounds crap.. BUT with delay and using a couple of keys we can get a drunk conga player.. (check the delay settings... very fast at 1 sec with the ratio set low at about 2.67 and 1.33 to decrease that time significantly ))) not sure who I modelled that on, maybe I was influenced by my 4 conga drums... :hihi:

PS>> google for zebra wavs, they work in Zebralette.. and grab wav2zebra to import wavs and export to Zebra format

Hey Toonertik, thanks for the presets and the heads up on wav2zebra. I especially like the strangestrum one. There are some sitar like sounds hidden in there!
