Hello everyone I'm working with sound fonts and I would like to know if it's possible to map them and modify them and save them in the newly modified format in Direct Wave but in sf2 format save as there is no export option??, it will be used in a different DAWS and also will there ever be in the future different export formats?
I did test CDxtract and it seems to open and view dwp or dwb file not sure using demo/ if anyone knows of any other software besides Polyphone which is great ap to use please let me know I tried Chicken System that was a disaster using Constructor to open and modify wave and sound fonts a lot of crashing..

I think I read your question wrong...
I thought you were looking for an alternative program to make soundfonts (sf2) files with, because you had trouble with the programs you already had, that and , it's not possible to make soundfonts with DirectWave.
Good luck with your quest
PS, you made me download Polyphone
