Best tools to find endpoints for sample loops

I am looking to start messing around with creating instrument samples after not having done so for a long time. I used to use Goldwave to find loop endpoints and was wondering if there is anything better for that these days.
Even if the piano player can't play, keep the party going.

In Reaper the default key to find next zero crossing is Z, Shift-Z to go to previous.
In Sound Forge Pro there is a Loop Tuner (Ctrl-Alt-L). It's got zero crossing detection, and can play the loop, pre- and post- as well. If you want Pro it's pricey so I suggest finding a deal on Sound Forge Audio Studio then asking them for an upgrade price.
Wavelab Elements mentioned previously is good too. But the eLicenser runs a Windows service that slays system latency. Not worth it to me. Not sure what it does on Apple OS but imagine it's similar.
Wavosaur is free and can snap to zero crossing on mouse selection but no jumping.
