PolyGAS - Free VST Granular Advanced Synth

Hi Vasyan,

I've been testing v2.4 extensively since you released it. Unfortunately, both my DAWs (Cubase Pro 9 and Reaper, 64-bit versions) are crashing every time I use PolyGAS. Most crashes happen when I am editing envelopes. In Reaper, choosing the distortion type 'Hump' in any of the default presets kills the audio output every time. Audio output can only be restored by re-loading the plugin. I've reported this error before.

I think PolyGAS has great potential, but clearly some debugging is necessary to make it stable and usable. I look forward to a stable version.

If yes, that operation of a plug-in on this OS was not tested.

i find editing the envelopes a bit of a pain.... dragging the points require pin point clicking inside a tiny
area, very fustrating. is there any way to enlarge the point's grab area?

There are several methods of change of scale of the envelope editor:
1. Use pressing of keys + (Zoom In) and - (Zoom Out).
At the same time input focus shall be in the envelope editor!

2. Use rotation of a wheel of a mouse.
At the same time input focus shall be in the envelope editor!

3. Use draging of a ruler the right mouse button:

I'm using windows 10 / FL Studio 12.4 and can confirm that this current release of PolyGAS is working perfect.

PolyGAS together with any FL Studio version working excellently. Possibly for the reason that both of these products are created in Delphi IDE

there are two issues I'm having with PG during most of my sessions (PG 2.3 - reaper 5.62-x64 - Win8.1).
1. PG stops producing sounds here and there. Sometimes when I change a parameter or load a new patch, sometimes without any apparent reason - even loading a new patch or sample doesn't bring back the sound.
2. when I move notes in the MiDi editor or play notes too fast PG starts to produce crackling noises (no more clean sounds) and continues to produce those noises when I play new notes, even after having stopped playing for some seconds. Sometimes loading a new patch helps to get rid of the noise, sometimes not.

But I am really hoping that someday it might work on waveform. But it runs now in Mulab and the new ambient reverb version is the first one that did not kill waveform instantly, so I am really, really hoping for that.

On the other hand to underscore what shroom81 said: I am very, very glad that this wonderful software exists and is given away for free/donation

And even if I cant use it (so fare) on my working daw, which is waveform, I am just glad that it exists and I can at least try it out in mulab.

And: I imagine that the working and living conditions under which they are develloped are far away from the luxury comfort most of us here on kvr take as normal.
