This thing sounds amazing, the only thing i am a bit disappointed about is the fact you can't sweep the frequency of the Allpass filter or switch the modulation off.these Allpass filters sound pretty unique it would be cool to be able to use them on synths etc without modulation.i don't understand why this is never standard.any chance you'd consider implementing this?a random glide LFO would be pretty cool too.not everybody finds uses for the sound of a robots CPU brain farting (sample and hold)

Yes it should work on 10.6.8 (although some 32bit host may have problems on older systems). You can try the demo first to be sure.zyzygis wrote:Looks good, is it working on Mac 10.6.8?
Carlo, can you tell me where AudioThing presets should be on Mac?
I have several different folders where presets currently reside but some of my AudioThing plugins can't see any presets.
Presets on MAC are stored in your user home /Music/Audio Music Apps/AudioThing/Presets
If you have multiple users, you might have installed the presets in the other user folder.

Eheh, yes all good suggestions indeed. I've added those to a possible todo list. I can't guarantee anything, but we'll see for the next update.TIMT wrote:This thing sounds amazing, the only thing i am a bit disappointed about is the fact you can't sweep the frequency of the Allpass filter or switch the modulation off.these Allpass filters sound pretty unique it would be cool to be able to use them on synths etc without modulation.i don't understand why this is never standard.any chance you'd consider implementing this?a random glide LFO would be pretty cool too.not everybody finds uses for the sound of a robots CPU brain farting (sample and hold)

Any chance that you will be adding more waveforms in the next update? Assuming there will be a next update. Also, is there any reason to keep v1.5 installed if you don't have any project files that it's used in?

We have not planned a new update yet, but adding new waveforms is definitely possible.bobhva wrote:Any chance that you will be adding more waveforms in the next update? No reason to keep 1.5 really, especially if you don't have any project saved with it.

+1 on being able to turn off modulation and sweep the allpass. I love that feature on the basic logic phaser and agree with TIMT that it should be standard for all phaser effects
Cheers

I once thought I had mono for an entire year. It turned out I was just really bored...

Perhaps I can add a "stop modulation" in the More menu and the Rate knob will instead sweep the allpasses. I'll have to find time to test it, we are super busy working on a bunch of updates, new plugins, and a new websitedjscorb wrote:+1 on being able to turn off modulation and sweep the allpass. I love this phaser plugin but what's happening with development? I'd love to see an updated version.

I asked developer few months ago about VST3 version and resizing, and got an answer, that there are no plans now for update.
Such a shame. I use it a lot. Best phaser in my opinion.

Now that AudioThing's updated the website to allow you to sort by Update Date, the Latest update: 10 Jul 2017 for Phase Motion does stand out as one of these things is not like the others. Only one in their catalog that is not M1 native also.

Unfortunately, I made some wrong choices when I updated Phase Motion to v2. It's now quite hard to update it to our current standard without messing with a lot of things. A v3 would probably make more sense, and I actually had plans to model our Mutron Biphase, so a redesign as well. Anyway, I can't guarantee it, but I'll do my best to update it this year.

Oh pleeease do this! As a Lee Perry and roots Dub obsessive, I would insta-buy it, 100%! Please remake more classic Dub gear, Outer Space gets hammered here and I've really been enjoying your King Tubby Big Knob in Dub Station tooaudiothing wrote: Mon Jan 16, 2023 4:07 pm ...
