Hmm. What can i say :D
It´s an superb song (I loved it)

But i would raise the volume on the guitar up a bit it was a little far in the background.
Except for that the song rocks....

Keep up the good work.

Wow EJo,
great song!! :hyper:

A fun tune this is.... Perhaps a bit cheezy, but here it fits like a glove.

One thing only really is to balance off the vocals more with the lead sequence starting at 0.31 as that one tends to override the vocals.

Autotune-tastic. :D

Pretty fun pop going on here. I'm not familiar with the genre, but it makes me think that it's what J-Pop would sound like if I had ever heard it. ;)

Is it just my imagination, or is there more level on average in the right channel than in the left?

Fun tune!

Hehe, tweetastic. I'd have liked it to have a bit less reverb all round, especially on the vocals, kind of makes it a bit 80s sounding to me. Then again maybe thats what you were after!

Fun! 8)

You are right, there seems to be more level on the right. But then when I listened again, I realized that it's sometimes lighter (higher) on the left and heavier (crunchier, darker) on the right. Not that it's bad, although it did make me want to tilt my head off to the left. :)

I haven't tried this yet myself, but a few articles on Mastering say that you should try out your mix in mono to see if it still "works" anyhow... so even though extreme panning is very useful for creating space, it shouldn't be used as a solution for a muddy mix.

One thing I found was that using hi- and lo- pass filters worked wonders on clearing things up. Even when you're cutting frequencies that you don't THINK are in the particular part (bass frequencies in vocals), they're rumbling down there a little bit as background noise, etc.

To be honest, though, I didn't think the panning sounded bad, and nor did I think the mix sounded bad, either. I simply felt it was a wee bit unbalanced. ;)
