i'm curious about this "Satson Series" moniker. what exactly does it mean? that more Satson (SSL) gear is coming?

I didn’t really care for it, I like their burnley and the soneqpro much better. Anyway it hasn’t grown on me much as yet. I’ll probably pass on it myself.

It's probably my favorite Sonimus EQ so far, the only issue is that I like using an SSL channel strip, so I'm torn between getting it or just sticking with the current channel strip workflow.

my instincts tell me that we will see just that, a channel strip from them!
Put that in an updated 'frame' similar to what Cytomic has with the oversampling and whatnot and you'll have an instant winner I think!

I also like to work with channel strips

I currently use bx_console (N) which I love the EQ of... not too crazy about the dynamics in that one tho...

It hurts my eyes just to look at it. Makes me feel sea-sick (motion-sick). I would not be able to work with it.

They're updating the GUI to minimize the faux-3D effect. There were some mockups shown on Gearslutz.

This is the most recent version of the UI they're toying around with. Got this from the Gearslutz thread. I think this looks a lot better. Now if they can just make the brushed aluminum more effect consistent, remove the scratches and the seam between the blue and grey parts, we'd have a winner.
