Someone is selling their computer of Mach Five 3, would it be worth it to pick up just for the soundbanks? I’m assuming they’re all totally different from Falcon’s factory banks, so it might be a cheap way to add some extra toys for playing with in Falcon. Anyone have any experience with this?

Nah, don't think it's worth it. MF3 is practically discontinued. Falcon is MF4, basically, and all the currently available content won't open in MF3, so...

I thought it would open in Falcon though. In fact, I thought I just read on Gearslutz you yourself saying you could? I have no interest in MF3 as an instrument (although perhaps as a way to convert EXS samples to Falcon?)EvilDragon wrote:Nah, don't think it's worth it. MF3 is practically discontinued. I have a few Falcon expansions and Vintage Vault 2, but I’m mostly interested in the samples instruments bundled with MF3.

Right, MF3 instruments WOULD open in Falcon, yeah. I misunderstood what you were saying.

Cool cool. For that reason alone I might pick it up. Any experience with the sample conversion I mentioned?EvilDragon wrote:Right, MF3 instruments WOULD open in Falcon, yeah. I misunderstood what you were saying.

A super simple DELAY knob at the oscillator or keygroup level would be nice. Maybe 20-80 200 ms tops- with 1ms increment.

[FR] Library-Maker.
Steinberg gave the HALion 6 a librarymaker. It would be nice if it were the same for the Falcon that you can make your own ufs-libraries. It is simply clearer to have everything in one file.

I'd say chances of that are pretty slim. UFS encoding is something you pay UVI to do, so pretty much the same thing like Kontakt Player licensing.

Well, there are samples in the factory library but you can't access them freely as they are encrypted in that ufs-library, so you would have to load a preset which contains samples and save a given sample as an oscillator preset, then you can use it in your own patches.kobal wrote:thanks !kokotte wrote:http://falcontinuum.comkobal wrote:i just got falcon with the black friday deals, any free ressources for it? wavetables, samples , presets ect ? thanks

...or you can just copy the keygroups out to an empty patch.
