Hello

You don't say which texts you want to change, but you may try any item ending with _font_col in the Window category.

I don't think think the list you're asking for exists, I'm afraid. It's all about trying, failing and learning...

Is it possible to use the icons and graphics from one skin in another? I like the logic skin but would like it to have the titlebar bitmap from the latest Amoebe skin.

You can export all the graphics as BMP files. Then you'd have to import them back into energyXT... so there's no real easy way to do it, but it's definitely possible. Use the "Dump BMPs" button in the Options popup...

Hi, another trick is to copy the bitmaps you want from one skin into a image editor, then load the new skin and copy the bitmaps back.

to copy a bitmap in eXT:

click the bitmap and ctrl+c or right-click and select copy

to paste a bitmap in eXT:

ctrl+a and ctrl+c in you image editor, alt-tab to eXT and right click the bitmap pool and select paste new. You can also overwrite a bitmap by first selecting a bitmap and then paste from the popup menu

Thanks. Now I can't seem to find the right bit to change the title bar appearance in the options. I've tried a couple of things but it stays the same. Are there any guides to skinning - there's so many values to change.

hehe. I started it earlier. Getting the colours and icons is the easy bit, knowing which ones to change in XT is proving more difficult. I'll have another play tommorrow most likely.

I especially try to change the weasue indicators at the top of the sequenceur, cos they are often white on a light background, and made it hard to use th seq at low zoom levels. the color of the text in the marker is problematic too, in fact, all texts on the seq which don't have a specific background. I ll try those you said. thanks

I found it impossible to change the white font in all editors. I tried all colours and all items. It's not there.

@amused, you're looking for either the win_title_bkgnd or the win_group_bkgnd items in the windows catagory. You might not recognize the first one as it is very small. I also found eXT doesn't redraw automatically after you changed items so it might look changes haven't taken effect.

I know it's annoying but you can drag the option window across the windows to get them "refreshed".

Also as far as I know the only font colors that can't be changed from white are in the timeline of the AudioParts and MidiParts where it say "End of Part" ...the track and part names in the sequencer component.
