Was lucky enough to see Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith earlier this year up close at a tiny venue, rocking the Buchla music easel. Wonderful stuff.

I love the calmness of this process of creation - it's like musical weaving - like a kind of electronic jazz but with less egos and grand gestures

With respect I would expect a bit more here..but yes great tones and sounds on some parts for sure thanks to the awesome hardware and programming though.
Did I hear microtonal too? Maybe..but her playing the animoog (really?) is a bit random.
Maybe this stuff is just too linear for me I guess.
It sure is hard to program drastic patch changes on something like that I imagine.
