something from a radiohead video/promo animation (probably from Kid A)?
A friend has mentioned that it does, but so far I haven't found anyone else who recognises this.
I don't want any such overt reference, so if there is some obvious similarity I'll have to use another image.

If your friend was saying it looks like something specific that he's seen, well, I can't speak to that because I haven't seen every Radiohead video/poster/whatever.

If it's just a general comparison, I don't see it. Your image is more concrete and colorful, less moody. The bright sea-green and red don't remind me of Radiohead at all. The background reminds me of Mark Rothko, which I offer as a compliment! Not that you asked, but I like the image.

I don't see the Radiohead conotation at all. It does kind of remind me of one of Lemon Jelly's covers.

Don't worry about having similarities. Anyone with a brain is going to pick something out that they think looks similar to something else.

Just be true to yourself and you can't go wrong.

Cheers. I've had it for years and somehow it seems appropriate for this release.

I think he meant that there was actually a similar figure - a kind of abstract shape on legs / stilts / whatever and wheels. Which would be a rather odd coincidence.

for what kind of music does it stand for? You have something to listen to?

The music will be available very soon, and the genre:
Er, kinda like classical/electronic mashed up fusion.

Chagzuki, I have no answer, just figured this was a good opportunity to mention that I like your live like caveman guy. Checked out your website once, interesting stuff there. Reminds me a little of Sam Hurt, creator of "Eyebeam." But from a different philosophical angle.

Real old farts like me will immediately see the resemblance to the Solenoid Robots from 'Roger Ramjet' cartoons.

Well, actually, a Daliesque interpretation of a Solenoid Robot

How obscure is that?

Kaden, now that you mention it I see a very slight similarity -- in spirit if not graphical style -- to the literally outlandish robots illustrating Stanislaw Lem's "The Cyberiad" (and possibly other robot tales).

i don't see anything too simular to radiohead, and i really like it, so i would use it, but i would lose the flying ladybug.
