just sharing because seems it's still not well known/obvious, (Ableton has session view, Bitwig is clip based, Sonar has matrix etc. ... )

FL has everything

ofc. additionally pad columns can be created for matrix view, automation can be triggered inside pattern/clips, so nice

Thank you for reminding me why I don't like FL Studio. The amount of mouse clicking and menu diving to perform such a simple task is just hilarious. Horrible workflow.

but everybody uses templates so the initial setup takes one loading anyway (and FL uses the last loaded template at its startup so ... )

so it's not complicated at all quite easy to try out different patterns without making the original arrangement/pattern dirty, same approach as Live, Bitwig has

couple of pads is enough (it's not for performance) cloned clips can be be put to the same pad position and easy to switching between them (check the video)

how do u do MIDI Orchestration in Live, think of > Articulate Plugin - Expression / Keyswitch Mapping

like things, I like both DAWs but the hardcoded MIDI channel 1 in AL inner routing bit scary

I tried but playback position stops frequently so I have to use them separately.

+ the shortkeys can't be used in VST (ctrl+, ctrl+alt+ etc.), ReWired is better

The biggest problem of that color notes is indistinguishable for most color-blinded people.

FL Studio 'non-linear' approach (not just 'Ableton and Bitwig are clip launch based DAWs' )
