Looks pretty nice, the only real complaint is that the text on the inlay is difficult to read as the colors match the background too closely.

Other than that, good stuff! :)

Agree with the comment above (not about painshop pro... I have it too!). I like the cover, but it is hard to read the text... you have a lot of songs for one CD!

Definitely needs more contrast. Kinda pixel-y looking, too. :( The theme is great, though! It conveys a sense of speed, which matches up perfectly to the title. I'm sure that was your intention, and it was quite successful.

:D haha.

Didn't notice the fraudian spoon!

Thanks for the comments thou. :)

The text looks a bit weird here but when printed on white coated paper it looks ok.

But... cant check out any others as the red in the colour cartridge has just run out. No more pink, mind you, white text dont look bad either.

vurt, putte, mystahr and glassback, you get the white version. :D

16 track 61:32 and not much filler, 8 didnt make it!
Works out at an average of one a month.

I'm sorry about not getting around to commenting on the actual artwork.

I agree that the contrast is too low. Neither the dark or the light areas ever reach maximum values. I looked at a histogram of the image in Photoshop, and you have left nearly a third of the potential tonal range unused. I would suggest performing a manual "levels" adjustment on the image, to insure that all possible tonal range is used.

Your lettering looks a bit jagged and is somewhat hard to read against the background image. The jagged part might simply be due to sharing a low-resolution jpeg with us. I would assume that your original file is much larger than this one? The extra resolution would really help when printing. As for being hard to read, you might want to either experiment with some different text colors, or chose a background image which has a different scale than this one. A lot of the image details are close in size to text elements. This can make things clash, unless you choose your colors and text options wisely.

Over all, I do like the image.

:D Thanks McLilith.

You are right though, the original is much larger and better quality and when printed the text don't look jagged.

I have also done another 3 colour version as well.
I will look into the text thou as I did use a transparant gif image for some of it.

Thanks again, the comments are helpful to me. :D
