Ugh...They Still require that Dongle for the Pro Version Trial -.-
I really just wanna Try the Full Cubase without spending 40$ for a USB...
I guess Pro Tools does the same thing however...eh...

Note that the 9.5.10 update should be coming out around early December. Don't forget to install it.

This is required for the piracy protection to work properly. There would be no point to the dongle if the trial version wasn't protected. Warez groups would just try to crack the trial since it's exactly the same as the full version.

You get a really good feel for what Cubase is (now) with Elements....I think you would know if it was worth the full version price after that (then you get the dongle free

)

Fair enough. Can't really refute that, Still I wish there was some other way, heck I'd even be okay with the Demo only being functional Online...

yea I guess. And It runs all the VSTs I own so I guess its effective enough. I'm Just a snob I guess

I like being able to try the Full Cubase Experience...

Its only purpose is to allow you to resume your download if you have connection issues, which was a common complaint.

If you're worried about Steinberg spying on you, consider wrapping your internet cable or WiFi antenna in tinfoil. I heard it works.
