If instrument instruction counts...
Adam Neely is awesome for bass, and music theory in general, but his videos are very densely packed with information, and may require multiple views just to take it all in.
Danthecomposer is cool for piano, but can be long-winded. He gets more into the philosophical side of it.
Mangold Project is great for keyboard/piano skills. No frills, concise, and a variety of interesting material.
Aimee Nolte is decent for piano as well, but seems to lean more toward beginner/intermediate stuff.
There's a couple videos with June Lee and Jacob Collier that talk about some kind of advanced theory stuff. Just listening to Jacob talk about music is very inspiring.
Rick Beato is informative and fun, if a bit self-indulgent.

LPV and ASK.VIDEO are the same company now. As for David's book, yeah, I can understand your POV on that. However, you won't find a better written source for learning Logic. My advice would be to find an earlier version second-hand.festeringheap wrote:Looks like ask.audio has quite a few of the titles of MacProVid and at a cheaper price point as wellBombadil wrote:MacProVid is ok, but I'd wait until they have one of their regular sales to bite. They haven't done any TnT for Logic X, and I expect they won't. Those were the best value for my money from them. If you are learning Logic, I would be remiss not to recommend David Nahmani's book, which is what Logic Certification is directly based upon.
re:books - I bought a Reaper book years ago for v4 and then so much got added to v4 making a lot of the book somewhat useless, unless I had the updated PDF - making the book experience futile.
I think David's Logic book on amazon may include the 10.3.1 update ( but not quite sure ), but definitely not the 10.3.2 . Already, it's slightly dated.
That said, I'll keep an eye out for an updated version in the future - it looks pretty good.
Interesting stuff, there, thanks for sharingApratim wrote:some game sound designers have their lecture/conference on sound design at gdc(mick gordon for example)
