It's an error. You don't save $1,248 due to a discounted upgrade (see the product page).Skorpius wrote:This is WRONG! The website tab clearly says UPGRADE.VariKusBrainZ wrote:Full versionpaulbreeze wrote:Is this offer an upgrade or full version?

To add to what Kraznet said: Apart from "psychedelic" Cubase midi functions (like "Delete black keys" or the like), you can do most of the editing you can do in Cubase. There's even an advanced function to randomize note velocity, which is way better than the alleged randomize function in Studio One.xphen0m wrote:In terms of midi functionality and midi editing, how does this compare to Cubase?
The only thing I'm missing in terms of midi is a "Randomize Note Lenghts" function - but not even Cubase has such a function, and I doubt any other DAW has.

That's Ok, I didn't upgrade anything I bought it and received the full versions and downloads.Skorpius wrote:This is WRONG! The website tab clearly says UPGRADE.VariKusBrainZ wrote:Full versionpaulbreeze wrote:Is this offer an upgrade or full version?
None of the emails concerning confirmation of payment or PayPal refer to it as an upgrade.
Everything is installed and registered.

This is very strange. I received several emails from Magix concerning this offer and they all referred to it as an UPGRADE.VariKusBrainZ wrote:That's Ok, I didn't upgrade anything I bought it and received the full versions and downloads.Skorpius wrote:This is WRONG! This seems to be the only link as far as I can tell.tatanka wrote:Hi Kraznet,
could you tell where you got that link from ? My problem: I am really interested but have no credid card or paypal which is needed for paying if you follow the link.
Usually I buy magix stuff from the german site (they have other payment options and I am from germany) but could not find that one on the german magix site, so maybe it is only magix GB ?
Or if anyone else stumbled over a german link to that.....

I'm pretty sure you can run it on two computers minimum.elassi wrote:Does anyone know the number of computers you can run Soundforge with a single license? Can't find any information. It'd be ideal for me if two computers are allowed so that I can use one machine for recording/editing radio shows while using the other for music making at the same time (and still have the option to edit audio on pc#2).

Can you pls check on how many computers you can install it? The only info I found was, that the serial (???) would indicate it. Strange, I know, but that's what they write in their EULA.VariKusBrainZ wrote:That's Ok, I didn't upgrade anything I bought it and received the full versions and downloads. Here's the link to the German website. And it clearly says "upgrade" in the title. So, the question remains: Is it actually an upgrade or not?Kraznet wrote:This seems to be the only link as far as I can tell.tatanka wrote:Hi Kraznet,

They normally allow 3 authorizations before you need to have them reset.elassi wrote:Can you pls check on how many computers you can install it? Sigh .... I'm still struggling with Magix's decission to NOT be porting Samplitude to the MAC platform. I'd love to use it on my MAC.
Well .... that's how it goes.
