Mockery.....seems to happen quite a lot around here.

Seems to prove a psychological affliction. Maybe not the one I was asking about but there could be a subconscious connection.

I think if the discussion has turned to this it is time to close the pool er the thread Mr. Moderator.

Mockery is seemingly the number one language of the internet and the culture of people who embrace it as a fix for their social woes. Humor is a defensive mechanism for many insecure people. The internet lets people make preemptive strikes against others, and then pass it off as a joke when called on it. "It's just a joke, chill out! Stop being so sensitive! Nothing bothers me! I'm untouchable!"

I'm all for a more gentle culture, but just saying that is a social faux pas, especially on the internet.

Yes, once again, it's the Internet move on, nothing to see here.

I do expect this though, anything to avoid the hassle of pointing it out and enduring the wrath of the masses here or anywhere else on the webz. It's one of those cases in this new reality and soon Dinosaurs like myself will die and fade away.

Before I do I'll be pointing out some of the peeves that rub me the wrong way and ask "Why", not to stir the pot but to see if it's a lost cause. I still have some faith left that human nature hasn't changed all that much and I'm not naive to believe that although someone will chime in otherwise, but would anyone display this behavior face to face with their "Real" name, there is no way that would happen.

But being as this is the Internet and I can write an opinion, so can the masses.

............I guesss.

DAW Propaganda.....is it really a psychological affliction?
