I picked up a shiny new copy of Thrill at the native instruments sale, and was excited (almost said thrilled) to find that it responded to osc from my iPad with the driver loaded on windows creator edition version 1709. And it works just fine, when running Kontakt standalone.
But not in Waveform. So I can't record the movement. It sees the TouchOSC driver, but says it cannot open the midi port.
Am I doing it wrong? Can anything be done?

Which, yes, when I did that, it said "cannot open Midi port" with no selection options beyond "ok" and the port remained disabled.
It is enabled in output midi ports, but it will not enable as an input Midi port.

I'm afraid this is off a fresh reboot.
Image line's mini host can open the port and pass the data, but doesn't know how to record it.
Cantabile can open the port, but doesn't know what to do with the data.
Supposedly, live, max, puredata, reaper, and a number of other hosts can just do this out of the box. Granted, it is more of a mac/Linux thing, but still.

I suppose I could try reaper, but I'd rather waveform did it.
