What an interesting question this is!

Same here for first choice. Second choice for me would be HALion 6. It's the only other synth/sample-layer hybrid that rivals Falcon in depth and breadth IMO. Also, by "master" I mean everything including mastery of script writing and full knowledge of all available editors.

Reaktor 6 Blocks!!!

Cakewalk by BandLab, Komplete 13, Maschine 2 (MKI & Jam), Fathom Synth, Guitars, Jam Origin MIDI Guitar, EXH Superego+ etc

Icarus, somehow seems underrated but can make a whole universe of sounds.

Reaktor of course! First synth plugin I bought.

Sytrus. It's capable to do almost anything.

This Plugin can't be mastered! The number of possible combinations is greater than the particles in the universe. If all kvr readers had been making patches since Neanderthal times, we would still be making patches when we are invaded by aliens. Do the math!

I see it more as a 'synth that would offer you the most possibilities if you knew everything about it'.

Image-Line Autogun, this tutorial barely scratches the surface.

Omnisphere 2
We shall see orchestral machines with a thousand new sounds, with thousands of new euphonies, as opposed to the present day's simple sounds of strings, brass, and woodwinds. -- George Antheil, circa 1925 ---

Let me think!
Reaktor or Absynth
Absynth or Reaktor.

Let it be ABSYNTH!!!

And let there be an Absynth 6, or else!

Falcon....
I love the sound but I struggle with the work flow.
It seems backwards to me but I know it’s me, not it...
I’d love to master Falcon.

For me, it’s not a matter of mastering a synth - it’s mastering how synths work. If you take note of the members here who know their crap, you won’t see them post on this thread. Like Dan Worrell, they can get on any synth and make magic. That’s my goal.
