anyways within the eu you could sell the plugin with no hassle. just saying  but yeah just not buying it is the smartest way.
no no no and no! and thats why I said before that parawave (as a german company) is shady as hell.

because they ignore this EU law by default and leave their customers alone with it.
sure, you can go to make a lawsuit - but for some hundred euros? of course parawave knows that. and thats all considered in their "business model".

There is one simple rule: if you know that you have an awesome tool/plugin/software - you dont have to make customers "angry" with these sale practices - you can let them leave(sale) because you know they come back as you have the ultimate tool!

Especially for the recent discount price of 100 €, i don't even see much of a point in being able to resell it. Jeez. It's not like you bought a car for 10.000 €.
Great that 100€ is not much money for you. But please consider that there are people in the world who have these 100 € to make a living for a whole month.

So please dont judge on a pricetag. Judge on the system and what is wrong in it.

You don't to sue, if they are based in europe you can complain with your local consumer protection agency.

So, what is wrong with it?

Yes, good point... that's why so much money shouldn't be spent careless but well-thought-out.
But this thread isn't about the unjust distribution of wealth or the feeding of the world population,
it's about a softsynth... Let's keep our feet on the ground.

Luxury problems... so...

Dude, seems like you need to get your priorities straight.
If you have to make 100 euros last a month why on earth would you be considering buying anything that isn’t food or essential to survival...

I have a solution for you. Spend the time in earning money instead of writing thousands of threads/posts. That will bring you two big advantages:

1. You have the money for RAPID and maybe for other stuff
2. You live healthier, because your blood pressure is lower.

And if you don't, just ignore Rapid and don't buy it. What's the matter? ;-)

I expect some people have Rapid and find they no longer use it. Their blood pressure will be high because they've discovered they can't sell the license and put the cash to better use.

I am producing music since almost 20 years and work as a professional sounddesigner since 8 years and I have never bought a synth and want to resell it. If I like a demo version of a synth, than I buy it and the full version is in every case not worse than the demo version. Now it gets ridiculous.
Everyone has the chance to try RAPID and hear the awesome quality. If you're unconvinced,... WHY THE HELL ARE YOU BUYING IT? It's like,.. you going into a restaurant, the service let you taste a piece of delicious meat,.. now you can choose if you want a full piece of it. Would you order a full piece and if yes,... would you tell the service "hello,.. sir,... yes of course, I tried a piece before and it was really delicous,... but now,... it is NOT! GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!" Do you really want me to tell that's not ridiculous??? Cmon!!! :hihi:

I think it's more of a political thing. It isn't enough not to buy the product, you need to go out on the "street", and start a riot, and convince everyone that it is a bad thing to buy the product. And, as that's much easier on the internet, being in front of a computer, as you don't even have to fear to have tomatoes thrown at you, the threshold is pretty low. :P

And, apart from that, we know that every business is evil anyway, don't we?

Really fishy. There already were reasons listed why someone would want to sell his copy but they somehow always get ignored... Also the fact that it is a right in eu and that none of its competitors have problems with it.

He's the expansion sound designer and probably main advertiser/sales man.

Why, in your opinion, people sell anything at all that they liked a lot while buying, then?

Situations change. Preferences change. Priorities change. People sell all sorts of goods they liked at the time of purchase. "How ridiculous to sell it if you tried it and liked it" disregards this reality of change.

Jeepers guys. Lets drop this talk of license and rather talk what this software can do, and what the future enhancements will do!!!!

The synth is really top notch especially in sound quality and workflow.

If you like it and accept the license terms, buy it. If not move on man. :x :x :x :x

You can make fun of him but the turth is that companies, any size, should comply with law. COmpanies in this world get away with so much BS, from this fiorst world problem to much more serious, that's why we have laws and consumer protection agencies.
