whats wrong with value ram? does it really make that big of a difference if it is still rated the same eg kingston value ram ddr400? I just bought some crucial "value ram" a half hour ago thats why I'm asking. Its only singlesided is that what value refers to. :?:

Well, i myself have been using a 512MB Kingston Value stik, and it's been working fine till now (exccept for a few crashes once on a while, when the processor is heavily taxed)

If you read up on RAM here, you will be told that pro RAM is heavily tested and least likely to give any troubles, perform better, OC better, etc. Much like the mobile processors line.

And i need to upgrade RAM. So i think i might as well go in for a two matched stick of specialized RAM.

I also have a question, I know RAM plays a crucial factor when it comes to Samplers and stuff, how much difference would it make to the number VST plugins i can load??
