Actually five including the SFX Console expansion, which I got recently in the half price sale.

It's worth signing up for the GForce newsletter in order to be kept abreast of sales sales like the recent half price sale. :tu:

Does anybody know which time of the year GForce do sales and what rebates they normally offer?
Cheers!

I don't think they ever do sales. I've yet to see one.

I found this old news item from 2014 about a 50% off sale, so I guess there is hope for another sale at some point.

I had a look to some older e-mails from G-Force:
24. March 2015: 50% discount on "Streetly SFX Console" (£24.99)
4. February 2017: 50% discount on "Streetly Tapes Vol 3" (£24.99)

The email archive turned up one from 26 June 2014 - 50% off M-Tron Pro.

"We're in generous mood, after all it is mid-summer! So while we beaver away on new projects, we're delighted to give you this one-off opportunity to purchase M-Tron Pro for 50% off the normal purchase price."

They weren't kidding about the one-off bit.

EDIT: Just noticed this is the same one as mentioned above.

The GForce looks a bit outdated.
I wonder if there is enough support given by the developers.
Would an investment into M-Tron have a future for new buyers?
There‘s so much abandoned ware on the market.
It would be a pity to invest 150 bucks for a dead product.
Hope someone can tell me my concerns are unjustified!

A new set was released not too long ago so it's not abandonware.

I used it for my recent prog rock project and it is hands down the most accurate Mellotron emulation out there. Nothing else even comes close.

Not a dead product at all! The latest Streetly Tapes collection was released less than a year ago, I believe. The plugin itself looks a bit dated, but considering that it is really just a fairly simple sample player and that the real magic is in the tape banks, I don’t find it particularly lacking. And yes, it is by far the best “tron” VST.

One just needs to watch the videos on how these libraries were created. The care that went into the process.

Nothing else needs to be said.

Here's track one from my prog rock project. Just zip ahead to the last minute to hear how amazing this thing sounds.

Very cool track! What do you use for those synthesized vocals by the way? I've heard it in some of your other tracks but with a female voice.

Sounds good!
