Vasily, could you try Ableton Live and confirm there is a bug with the Dry level?

True, it's broken in Live (tried with the 64bit version). :(

on an output in an inverted phase, for example through aux bus, at the same time the inverted phase signal muffles a dry signal of a plug-in as +1+-1=0.
Unfortunately I am not familiar with cubase, but I would check in the aux bus setup for existence of an inverted phase.
I'll check to make sure, thank you :)

:hihi: :D
Ah ah, yes, I know, I'm heading in that direction ;-) I'm just really afraid that most of my oldest and favorite instruments might stop working :( But I'll be forced to move up to w7 sooner than I'd like to, anyway...

Working on a spacesynth kinda track, just tried Ambient Reverb on few instruments. To my ears, this Sounds wonderfully well (haven't tinkered much, just used the factory presets) with very little cpu use.

Thanks for this brilliant tool, @Vasyan sir! :tu:

Mac of BIOnighT wrote:Hi :) This reverb sounds really nice! Unfortunately, no sound comes out of the "dry" section, only early and late reflections. (I think the dry sound becomes audible when you turn up the "early" knob, but I can't be sure). Is that a problem of my old system (I'm on XP, cubase SX) or something you might want to look into? Thank you :)
It cannot be!
I tested personally in Windows XP SP3 - Sony ACID 7 and FL Studio 8. The plug-in perfectly works. Turn the Early and Late knobs in extreme left position (-∞ dB), and the Dry knob in extreme right (0 dB), the sound shall go through a plugin directly without reverberation.
It should probably but it does not.
Same here on Cubase 9.5 / Win 10 Fall Creators Update on a simple Stereo Instrument track.
Early & Late are on minus infinity and Dry on zero: No sound.
No big deal as I use Ambience in FX send normally but it does not work as labeled here as insert on a simple stereo track.

A free reverb -- great to use for one synth competition. CPU usage is so low, I added an instance of Ambient Reverb and FL Studio's CPU usage actually went down by 1% 8)

This is an excellent reverb. :tu:

I checked since morning a plugin in Ableton Live today and really I found out the fact that the dry signal does not arrive on an output.
The reason managed to be found and repaired not directly as speak at on in Russia "После столь долгих танцев с бубном" ("After so long dances with a tambourine")
As Ableton Live works with audio data not absolutely as it is accepted in the VST 2.X protocol, to be exact the reason was that the input and output buffer was used same that in principle it is not good. :(

Update Ambient Reverb :tu:

Actual version is 4.1

Absence of a dry signal on an output in some DAW is corrected (for example Ableton Live)

Download updating
version of file "AmbientReverb.dll" is 4.1.0.5

P.S. The project needs creation financing the user manual to this plug-in, ask to enter feasible donations to compensate costs of modernization.

Thank you Vasily, it works properly now!

Just a small tiny request if I may? How about manually typing values, or fine-tuning while holding the SHIFT key?

Greetings to Siberia from Serbia :)
