iPlogger wrote:Interesting. I would certainly try Orphion with external gear, but I lost the CCK quite some time ago. I do feel like I used Orphion hooked it up through an iConnectMIDI (I have the original one) and was controlling a rack mount synth, but it's been so many years, I'm not 100% sure.

Oh wait. I have an iPad 2 and 30-pin CCK (somewhere around the house) and also an old 30-pin iRig MIDI somewhere around the house. I will test Orphion out if I can find all the parts I need to hook things up.
Tried to purchase Orphion with my Paypal balance but would not allow this. I must use my bank account or credit card. So I cancelled. Why place limitations on paying. I am trying to give them money but they are making it difficult.

Edit: In the App store one cannot select to use Paypal and pay by Paypal balance. However when I selected to pay by my Bank balance the App store ended up using the Paypal balance to pay. All other companies that I had done business with allow to select payment Paypal balance.

Wow! I got Orphion. Hope to check it out soon.

Make more suggestions on Chord progression, midi effects, arps, alternative keyboards, generative music, inter-active midi (and audio) apps

Works both ways, I midisync apps like Ripplemaker/Troublemaker with hardware machines and jam.

Now that you mention it, I remember trying Chordflow only internally, sending to Gadget. But you can ask Mr.Klochkov, the author, he’s responsive and helpful.
Thanks again. :tu:

This increases the potential apps to use. :D
Well there’s one last wonder.
If you use Kymatica Aum, Rozeta Sequencer Suite is worth a look... :hyper:
Rozeta Sequencer Suite looks intersting. does it ever go on sale?
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/rozeta- ... 46479?mt=8

Kymatica Aum - not sure I can use this

Bram Bos apps prices were slashed during black friday so yes, but I don’t know if that will happen again and when.

Got a GAS attack last night and bought some iPad apps.
I believe the most expensive was $10. Saw some others that were interesting but were more expensive. I will wait for a sale.

Where are the iPad apps sales announced?

If the app will not work with my iConnectmidi2+ which is CoreMidi compatible can I ask for a refund?

I am still open for suggestions on iPad apps such as
midi controllers
midi regular and alternative keyboards
Arps and chord progression generators.
Anything midi generative.
Midi fx

Really like the multi-touch capability of the iPad!

Thanks to all for the suggestions!

Edit:

Oh, I got ChordFlow, Orphion, Gestrument, Fuge Machine and Dot Melody and a few others.
