I have 20 years plus experience with midi, and still I couldn't make out what Behringer was trying to say in their not so impressive pdf manual. In any case I recorded my experience as a video. Hopefully will come handy for those who are new to this great pedal.

Thank you guys. Just one little correction. The software editor that I used towards the end of the video is actually not from the Mountain Utilities website. It's Ed Dixon's editor for the FCB.
I'm recording a video for the editor software option at the moment. This is a really flexible pedal. I have my own wish list, but again for the price you can't beat this.

FCB1010 is really old...
Spent huge time for figuring out the editing on board over 10 years ago, pain in the rear...
Try an easier programming MIDI controller via bluetooth by mobile devices

Interesting! Thanks, 2+2=5!
$200USD takes it out of impulse buy territory for me. If it was half as much I'd be ordering one tomorrow. More research needed...

Programming a 1010 isn't so bad over midi with a PC editor.
For what it costs, the 1010 having 2 optical expression pedals makes is still well worth looking into - bearing in mind that most expression pedals have ordinary control pots within that easily become erratic with wear or dust ingress. The optical type in the 1010 are not prone to such mechanical damage.

It's still is a great pedal. It's actually not that bad to program if you know what you're doing. For the first time user...yes it's definitely a pain in the butt. That manual of theirs is not very helpful.2+2=5 wrote:FCB1010 is really old...

Thanks for the link to these other pedals. They look very interesting. I'll check into them as well.

For those who use the FCB1010 , I just recorded another video for FCB1010 Manager which is a software editor. Been using it for a while and it's just wonderful! You can program various setup files in no time. You can pretty much see all the details about a setup file ...etc.
Highly recommanded! It does not support UNO chip at this time.
Here's the YouTube link for FCB1010 Manager tutorial:

and here's the download link for the free editor:

Hi,
Can FCB1010 be used to rotate the rotary knobs of VST plugins like reFX Nexus 4.5? I would like to be able to switch between different rotary knobs of reFX Nexus 4.5 using the FCB1010 switches and rotate the chosen rotary knob using one of the FCB1010 pedals. Is this doable?
