I love this EQ. The design of it suits me, took seconds to get used to the buttons etc.

The shelves are brilliant, cutting on this EQ feels very nice imo, and I like the filters too.

This is the one Lindell plugin I don’t have. What’s everybody think of it?? Any good applications for it??

it's the only one you SHOULD have, in my opinion
i like to put it on my master, both studio and live, in an initialised state, and just cop a bit of sweet saturation.
i honestly don't use EQs much, as I try to do everything on the synth itself, where possible.
but another thing i use it for a lot, is just taming harshness of some of my digital or cheaper synths, or stuff that has too much brittle or sharp top end. TE-100 just seems to smooth it all out.
now i feel like loading up a SID-esque synth just to tame some harshness

Doing as much as you can on the synth, instrument is also an approach I take. I guess it started for me in the early days of the keyboard workstation. Mind you I was also a live engineer at the time, though I had done some studio work too. This was in the 90s.

So when the world of the DAW eventually caught up, I started by translating those skills. Nowadays it’s just habit. I don’t make tones so the individual instrument sounds fat, I shape tones to fit in a mix. I’m always weary of fat sounding libraries as they can often be more difficult to mix, because they don’t play nicely with others. Occasionally I’ll want something fat, that if it’s to be a main feature.

I have so many good quality eqs and other plugins now, it’s not funny. I have everything else from Lindell, I’ve just been avoiding this one as I figured I had enough.

i think it's a good approach, it forces you to get the most out of your synths, and frees up your racks/CPU a bit.
That said, it's a great sounding EQ.

GAS is retarded. After so long, and with the amazing palette of sounds i have to paint with, I'm still suffering.
Especially with this December PA sale and a few others... not to mention the fact I'm living in poverty.
