I really like the drive in P900. Gives the filter on high resonance really screaming bite.
I mean it has different filter types, here i used the 904-A Transistor Ladder Filter.

Again i had a bit fun to play with 8 (custom made) patches from P900.
Sometimes it´s hard to tame the beast but i really love the flavor of it.

Nice demo... I just downloaded the P900 demo but the demo hiss is so constant it is not possible to even try it.

EDIT: Oh, there is a license key for the demo. I have no idea how to use it.

Not sure if there is a good one on other platforms.
Model 15 on iPad is great (especially the MPE stuff), P900 is even much better (but a few minor things are missing there too) to my taste (and more versatile too).
There is Arturia maybe or build something in other modulars but for me there isn‘t something really good and easy to use otherwise.
P900 is a one man side project and so i‘m also not sure if and when development will go on.
All i can say is that P900 is for me together with Repro the best sounding synth i ever played with.
It has really balls. The filters are awesome and the envelopes snappy as a crocodile :)
On top a good delay (but i like the one in Model 15 app more) and by far the best (plate)reverb i ever heard which is included in a synth plug-in....it even is better than a lot reverb plug-ins for me (of course limited in editing).
I have no hardware to compare but i saw several times people saying that P900 nails it.
While VCV, Reaktor and whatever more versatile modulars are great i also heard nothing yet which has this meaty Moog sound (even not Moog‘s own app).
I think while Moog‘s Model 15 emulates indeed more the Model 15 envelopes and more tame filters, P900 has a lot more juice and power, especially in the low register and at high resonance. The overdrive is so great. Best saxophone timbres i ever got out of a synth.
The sequencer module is a gem too.
I like the GUI and everything is fluid and easy to connect. Easy switch to 4 or 8 voices is another winner. It has limits in terms of variety and number of modules but still enough to blow my mind (and CPU).
You hear i‘m a fan so it might be a very biased meaning.
But like i said. In general there are really only 2 vintage/analog modeled tools which blow me away...and P900 is one of them.
Then there is a big gap, then there would be Zeeon (yes, again that tiny iOS synth) which is another very characterful, powerful and versatile synth with balls.
Sorry for the long post :)

That phat booming bass that blows your windows out is what I'm after. Sigh.

There are some workarounds I can think of: Using various bass enhancers on Arturia's Modular V. I can also try and emulate this in TAL-Sampler with single cycle waveforms. TAL-Sampler has a very good built in moog type filter. But that thundering bass is still somewhat absent. Hence my wish for circuit modelled alternatives.

Also Predator 2 can get very close to the Moog Modular sound, but lacks that analog richness and booming bass.

A windows P900 might have done it for me, but it's just not going to happen.

I may try and load up Monark again and try her out. She basically does that pleasing analog moog sound, and might layer her in with the Arturia version.
It´s really hard to describe and we all know that different people see it different. I remember conversation here where people say this synth is not snappy but others say the opposite.
But the magic really happens for me with all the modulations and if you really drive it to the limit. Model 15 can do really some awesome low sub tones and is great for bass too (but a lot comes from the great delay...if i remove it even subtle the sounds got rather flat) but P900 indeed has that full body and just the perfect reverb to let it really shine too.
Maybe other can get the same sounds out of other synths but i failed and i´m happy to get this out of P900. Here some more examples of what i mean. 6 single patches here and 2 3-layered sequencer parts. No extern FX.

Thank´s....and whaaaat?! You own it and don´t use this gem often...shame on you
If now that sample module comes too in the future i would be in heaven.
Not sure if there will only be minor updates because it a side project but as long as there will be just bug fixing here and there i´m quite happy to bought this.
I was so searching and/or hoping for a Model 15 plug-in from Moog and stumbled over this which was already released about the same time. I still wonder why this seems so under the radar.
I mean it´s macOS only but that´s Logic too and some other tools as well.
I even would happily pay for modules if that help the developer. Damn i would donate him a bunch of money if i would be rich...... :D

O.k. a big 8 OSC Organ with a large plate reverb for sunday :)

Hey Cinebient

How does one put in the demo activation code?

Also, can the GUI be enlarged vertically? It defaults to showing just one panel, but my screen is big enough to show 2 at once. Is that possible?

Does that not work:
Go to the “Demo Downloads” page
Buy the free Demo
Go to the Purchase History page
Click on View Details & Downloads
Copy the License Key listed
Download and Install the demo
Paste the License Key into the P900 License Activation dialog). Available from the context/right click menu.
If you get a blank plugin window, use the right click menu to toggle the Use Layers option under Host Preferences.
About the size. Just right click on any free space in the plug-in (there you find the activation window too).
You can chose from 1X12, 2x12, 3X12 and 4x12 rack and 10 different sizes (window). Also zooming works very smooth too inside the plug-in.
But whatever you do....put a limiter always after it while experimenting. This thing can go insane sometimes.
