Honestly shocked this hasn't gotten any attention, even just for Vegas Pro. This is an incredibly efficient video editor for bargain bin prices! This is the usually-much-more-expensive Reaper of video editors, now for less-than-Reaper prices!

I tried to resist, but for just 20 bucks I had to go in. I'm not even a frequent video editor (just family footage stuff), not even a very frequent photo editor (mostly web and family footage), not even a frequent website editor (lately into Wordpress for my wife's business) but for the occassions that I need good, well featured editors, these will do the job just fine

Nevermind... found something on the german Magix website. Full comparison of the Vegas family.

Edit: Absolute no-brainer for 17 € and some...

It came just right in time as I was looking for a video editor.

That said, if someone is interested in the Vintage Effects Suite (or any other goodie of that humble bundle) drop me a PM for a little xmas-present. I don't need anything from that deal besides Vegas.

You also get 3 free soundpool collections, of your choice, from the 80s Music Maker and Hip Hop Music Maker (so, 6 in total, you choose 3 from each) which you can redeem in the latest regular version of Music Maker, without installing either of those specialist editions... just enter serial codes etc. I was relieved to see it work like that, rather than two needless installs.

But yeah, it is a crazy value bundle offer, as even the Video Sound Cleaner thing seems worth more than the asking price here(!) And that would be considered an afterthought amongst the bunch.

Worth noting that Vegas 14 Edit, in this deal, is not the latest version (that would be Vegas 15, currently reduced to £114.) Although it would be highly churlish and silly to be peeved about that... remember the context of the deal! It is still a super powerful video editor, great for those who would never pay in full but would like to have it on their system for when/if the need arises.

However, for the super peevish amongst you, it is best that you also know about version 14's exporting issues etc... Longer rendering times and stuff as far as I'm aware, as the Intel and GPU hardware acceleration was added/fixed for version 15.

A superb deal regardless obviously, aIthough I use the non-Vegas video editors from Magix and prefer them, but Vegas has more compatibility with certain things.
