1. FIX: SynthMaster crashes when wave file name is longer than 32 characters
2. FIX: SynthMaster might crash when waveforms are selected from a waveform dropdown for a preset that's saved before version 2.7
3. FIX: Some factory presets have missing waveforms
4. FIX: When number of waveforms is greater then 65536, SynthMaster might crash when selecting a waveform whose index is higher than 65535

Hey Bulent, thank you alot for the update! I noticed few bugs:

1. In Browser and Preset part 2nd left column macros are not aligned to the same position
2. Also in browser and Preset part where there are part with XY pads in browser it says "XYPAD1" ect and in Preset "XYPad1" X
3. SYN Tropic is missing Sample definition for Layer2Osc1Wave 1

Hi Bulent,
i think i found a crash in SM 2.9.3.
Start Sm 2.9, klick on Init Preset. Load the Wavetable Basic Pulse 1.
Klick on the first Waveslot Insert Waveform then Random Waveform .
SM 2.9 crashed but the Massage is Synthmaster 2.8 Stand Alone crashes.
Same in Cubase 9.5

I had downloaded the latest version yesterday, instant crash in the DAW on opening the plugin in both Logic and Live in OSX, tried VST and AU.
Looking forward to try the version posted today. Hopefully that crash is fixed.

Out of curiosity how do you know when there is one... between the unknown date and the repeating version numbers sometimes for me it has become sometimes a guessing game.

Yes Bulent but I for one don't have time to follow every daily update post you do.
Your approach of such constant incomplete official release is a bit unusual.
I beta test for quite a few companies/products and your approach is way more of a beta approach than a release candidate/golden master approach.
I am indeed running 2.9.3 which I downloaded just last night (or maybe it was early this morning(it was indeed early this morning after 3am ja time....so this issue still exist at least on my mac).
is it 2.9.3 from yesterday or 2.9.3 from the day before or 2.9.3 from today, I have no idea.
There is not even a date of release or set of fix notes available before you download and install.
I think you know I have a special connection with synthmaster. I almost take it as a duty to help you get synthmaster to the level of a zebra etc which is what started our conversation years ago.

Ufuk's ARP DanceSeq UK..... which plays fine on my pc but says missing waveform on my mac.

Surely if these were on your beta server I would be way more patient and understanding.

About 2 weeks ago I was testing SynthMaster One with Reaper and I switched to a Windows user with non-ascii name (Bülent Bıyıkoğlu). Reaper did NOT save my user prefs and I had to set them each time I run Reaper. Similar issue with Visual Studio 2015 from Microsoft: I wasn't able to build my project when I switch to that Windows user. For me, as a user, those 2 issues are critical bugs. But Reaper and Visual Studio are both "released" software, not in beta status.

I really just want to get to a place where SMOne and SM2 work without issues.. yes even the silly little ones.... you know like the rest of the software I use in daily production......
SMOne is at that stage, and got there very quickly which is why I am very afraid with this four layer plans.
I have used SMone in several productions.

Sm2 has never been there for me, never, I don't think I have ever used it in any production in all the years I have owned it......if it wasn't the favourites from the mac to pc, to missing waveforms to previous patches no longer playing to, errant red lines in the gui (still there in this build), banks twice appearing sometimes causing issues etc.

I really want you to do well Bulent, I really do. If I didn't I would have uninstalled SM2 years ago and never looked back. Our first interaction over PM many years ago impressed me and give me a lot of respect for you and your openness to constructive criticism. It is why to me SM still has a special place for me.

It;s just seems to me that the thrust is adding features more than a solid build and bug fixing.
Just to me, there is a rush to get stuff out without fully testing them.

I can even give you an example in my own business, when sending mixes to clients. I would send a mix, make a tweak (which to me sounded huge but the client couldn't tell), and in the end the client had about six tweaked mixes when all they wanted was one final mix....
I had a client who use to tease me and call them the 'spot the difference mix'.....one day I realised how counter productive and annoying it was for the client to have to go thru this, so I do a mix and unless the deadline is then, I at least sleep on it, and listen back the next day before I send it to the clients.

My clients appreciated that.

I don't use any other software where there are this amount of release versions, that come so fast, furious and many times incomplete.
Indeed I would understand the occasional hot fixes.......but to me this is jsut way more than that.

Just my two cents.
