I can get a consistent crash (Ableton will lock up completely) by doing the following:

Load Avenger, load Init Patch.
Add OSC 2.
Set OSC 1 FM to OSC 2.
Go to OSC 2 tab.
Adjust FM of OSC 2 to 100%.

Emailing support. Figured I'd list it here too, in case anyone else sees this - maybe will save them an email to support.

Thanks. It looks like the bug is fixed, but this version isn't reading my XPs properly. When I first load Avenger, about half of my XPs are missing. If I delete the track with Avenger on it, and then add Avenger in again, the XPs are there.

If I close my DAW, and do this process again, the XPs listed the first time are never complete, and the ones that are shown varies - sometimes I see about half my XPs, sometimes more.

More cross FM: this patch uses a tempo-synced electric guitar flageolet loop (granular synthesis) frequency-modulated by oscillator 2 (pitch-modulated sine wave), improvised live on video tweaking things on the fly.

You can now use one oscillator to frequency-modulate another oscillator, like a sample oscillator can modulate a VA shape, or a wavetable osc can modulate a granular soundscape and so forth, the oscillator used as the FM modulator can not be used to actually output it's own sound, it is a dedicated FM source. All shaping features for an FM modulator stay intact (unison/detune/modulation/waveshaping/syncing) which makes it an incredibly powerful feature.

Here is a drone patch which uses the new cross FM-feature (2 carrier Oscs, each one with it's dedicated modulator OSC, one using a multi-sampled soundscape, the other one a wavetable, the carriers are sine and triangle), I reverted back to 1.3.0 so I could go on programming...lovely new possibilities!

First attempt at skinning VPS Avenger. 70% done ish. Few issues with textlabel placement and some images, will finish it tomorrow. Will do some final touches then



Is it easy on the eyes? Might change the dial / knobs though...
