Hmm, what you mean ? Cpu or something other ? In my old 2009 PC it's works without problem.
(Win7\64bit\ and i use vst2 version)
Same as well here, very CPU friendly.

I have to agree with the low CPU usage, and so far it has been stable, Ableton Live 9.7.3 x64 VST2 on a old i5-2500K@3.30GHz\WiN7\64bit ...

This thing, especially with the Density and Spin controls, sounds and feels like a reverb melted with a granular delay, creating a unique hydrid reverb.

Very fun to use and near impossible to make it sound bad...

This thing is amazing! It was an immediate buy for me as it lends itself well to the type of music I want to do.

I did find an issue with the VST3 that I reported. It is apparently being worked on. I got a quick response on my submission, so happy with 112db's customer service, too.

definitely an interesting plugin for anyone interested into huge lush soundscapes. Price is neat too.
indeed, 39$ ...very attractive price for what you get !

Post

It's actually $29 intro price.

So you can't create similar frozen audio/drone effects with Sandman Pro?

Post

There are different kinds of freezing (buffer, granular, spectral, maybe some others).

Sandman's "sleep" is a buffer freeze, basically just looping a delay indefinitely without adding to it or changing it. Very different.

Post

Very nice little plugin Indeed.

Yes, yes good stuff!

How to activate the GUI? There is no license file in the demo version

You should have received a license file by email. Maybe it ended up in your spambox. Or it could be a typo when you requested the license.

Request a license again here: https://www.112db.com/mikron/cascade/demo.php , and if it still doesn't arrive let me know.

It's a matter of taste I guess. Personally I would like to have it a little 'less fine tuned' as well. I will bring it up again here at 112dB.

very impressed with this one. fairly certain its next on the buy list if there is anything left to spend after Christmas ;]

what would you think of this one as an example of a potential contender on the area ? :

more parameters of the delay network (tempo-sync for instance)...but also a bit tricky to handle, IMO ?
