No. we don't store anything related to the license key file location in the config file. I suspect there's some network/file permissions issue going on there.

Weird, just checked in both program files and the folder under Documents, only one keyfile.

Yes

deleted the synthmasterfolders.txt file too presumably since I just moved the license onto my desktop temporarily and trashed the whole folder

Surely your logfiles would tell you that, afaik it's nothing unusual, just a standard Mac running El Cap - no customisations

Crashes Bitwig Studio 2.2.3 at startup. It's impossible to activate Synthmaster 2.9.4.

Could you please download the license key file from:

http://www.synthmaster.com/downloadlicensefile.aspx

and place it under /documents/synthmaster folder

Either there's a network issue or the license key file can not be written to your documents folder.

Is /documents/synthmaster created successfuly on your system?

We had that issue for Windows users who are using non-ascii user names but on OSX user names are creates ascii I guess, and it uses UTF8 encoding by default.

and one last question: Does your home directory folder contain any non-ascii characters?

Bulent, thanks for all your work. 2.9.4 looks pretty bugfree to me (except the red lines in the gui). I have a question: Can I put my SM One presets into the preset folder of synthmaster?

No they're separate products so they dont load each other's presets.

SynthMaster 3 will load SynthMaster One and SynthMaster 2 presets though

So basicly we'll have SynthMaster One, 2 and 3 next year

Please don't forget the double booking of ufuk/UFUK in the next update.

Just updated to 2.9.4, Nori Ubukata soundbank does not load anymore with following error message:

Thanks, looking into the issue now.

EDIT: I tested and I couldnt reproduce the samples loaded fine for me.

I downloaded and installed the preset bank through the plugin, not manually. The preset bank and the archive file are under /documents/synthmaster/presets folder.

Just so you know on my mac, with 2.9.4... Arabian Nights 1-3 play fine.

The key file bug might be an OS X thing. When I was running a Mac I used a light little program called “easy find” to uninstall programs. It was a life saver and I was totally dependent on it to keep my Mac clean. If you can still find it, try easyfind for Mac and do a search for synthmaster and for kv331. R.I.P. it ALL out. Clean house and do a fresh install. That would be my suggestion. Hope it helps.
