I know, right? Maybe he just has never tried it?pdxindy wrote:I constantly use a sustain pedal... Wouldn't want to do without it. No sustain would be a near deal breaker for me.AlesisVi61 wrote:
I'm sorry you are having sustain pedal issues,as you made it clear it's very important to you....but seriously, who really uses a sustain pedal on a synth??
Never in the last 30 years, have I ever needed and used a sustain pedal for my synths(as if I want more release,I just adjusted the envelope controls.)
For nearly most of us,a lack of external sustain control, just isn't a deal breaker(especially for a magnificent sounding $50 soft-synth.)
If you have requests for Korg VST features or changes, they are listening at https://support.korguser.net/hc/en-us/requests/new

Or he does not play... only programs... then sustain is not neededbraj wrote:I know, right? Maybe he just has never tried it?pdxindy wrote:I constantly use a sustain pedal... Wouldn't want to do without it. No sustain would be a near deal breaker for me.AlesisVi61 wrote:

Different market, less piracy, no own distribution needed, less support of hard- and software and some other things, that‘s it!egbert101 wrote:Can someone explain why Sunrizer is $9.99 on an ipad, but $50 on a PC?
It‘s the same with PPG apps, Sugar Bytes, Audio Damage, FabFilter, Korg and a lot others.
If you want these synths for 1/5 - 1/10 of the plug-ins.....buy an iPad.

Yes. I have a lot synths but nothing with the character of Sunrizer. Some of my favorite presets ever there too for leads and some awesome pads as well.aMUSEd wrote:It's still worth it
Sadly the plug-in lacks the .tun file import like the iOS version. Otherwise such a synth would cost normally about 100 as plug-in.
Dagger is awesome too. One of the most powerful sounding synth without FX.
Zeeon would be a dream for me since it´s fantastic DSP and there is nothing like it really on desktop yet (not with this character). Cost 10 dollar as app
There might be a Mac version but i doubt it and windows.....i don´t think so.
The developer said piracy killed it on the desktop for him.....sad.
He is also working on a major update to Sunrizer or better said Sunrizer 2 but i think it will be iOS only too

That sucks but he should at least fix the desktop bugs

He should fix the hanging notes. Irritating

Can´t comment on this since everything works fine for me so far.
But i see the developer more as "iOS" developer who tried and maybe failed to go into the desktop world of plug-ins.
It´s really sad since i think his DSP is close to U-he level but i think the focus will stay on iOS.

I am sorry for his problems but he still took our money so he should get over it and live up to his responsibilities

Of course that is right. I guess you mailed and got no answer?aMUSEd wrote:I am sorry for his problems but he still took our money so he should get over it and live up to his responsibilities
I had this too when i had trouble and it took a lot time or several mails to a response. But in general he is a great guy so i wonder what happens.
I beta test the apps and he is very active in the audiobus forum even include a lot things people requested and very fast with fixing bugs.....on iOS at least....there is it again.
But yes, there is no apologize for no support if you pay for it, even if the market is a grave for him. That´s right. I mean i do wish personally he would focus on mac/win but that won´t happen anytime soon. One day i have to buy a new iPad again

Yes, i agree here too. A reason i normally not buy plug-ins ported from iOS or vice versa.egbert101 wrote:Not really. But it does make me think twice before buying it.pdxindy wrote:Surely you already know the answer to that?egbert101 wrote:Can someone explain why Sunrizer is $9.99 on an ipad, but $50 on a PC?
But in case of Sunrizer it´s still no AUv3 on iOS, means no several instances, automation in hosts etc. (but that will change too).
The only other synths i have on iOS and as plug-in are DRC and Infinite Pro, both worth since they offer me more in terms of features (Infinite Pro) or they are still very well priced (DRC).
We don´t know for which developers which market works better. I still wait for U-he iOS apps
