If there would be ONE synth to choose (good that i don‘t need that of course :D ), it would be P900!
Genius DSP work!
... and no windows version :( :(
Of course that is sad for windows user if you want that character of this synth.
I mean there might be a few other choices out there. I tried to achieve similar results with other tools and while some sounds can get close in most cases P900 pleased me much more.
Especially when it comes to the included plate reverb (which i find really better than most reverb plug-ins which sometimes cost as much as this synth alone) or such nice overdrived sounds like in this (bad played from me) example which follows.
There is such a nice analog/vintage/organic/full body/meaty....whatever character inside it which is hard to describe. Most other synths, especially if overdrived with high resonance, sounds more digital or just noisy or unpleasing for me (maybe just for me, at the end it´s all a personal preference). Some come close but maybe i just did it wrong.
If there is something....just let me know :)

And here an example of the plate reverb module which can be very subtle or really huge.
It has 3 algos.
The first sound is dry, then the same sound with different algos (from small to large) and bigger decay times and wet settings (in the last example full decay, 50% wet, bandwidth setting at zero and i had to fade out because it would go on for a while). Of course you can do tons of stuff between that. I really love that reverb, has an analog feeling too for me.

Indeed, ever thought about selling add on modules for P900? I would pay happily for that.

Thanks a lot!! I deliberately chose not to do split it up in purchasable modules like that, basically because I don't like such pay systems myself. I will continue to maintain and update the P900 but huge expansions and/or a port are looking unlikely at this point.
Might the Moog bode shifter ever make an appearance?

this c*nt still not ported to win? jeez, been ages

It'll happen eventually, I'd say.

Agree! When U-he develop their plugins it also take a long time, and the result is always worth waiting for. The developer of P900 is one man and not a big team.

Uhhh... the developer himself said a port is looking unlikely...

As far as I can remember from this thread, and by searching it quickly now, the developer has never mentioned "unlikely", that is your word. However, I wouldn't hold my breath, because it would be a lot of work according to the developer. But he also said he would look into it. Or have he changed his mind somewhere in the thread?

Just on the last page... unlikely... so no, not my word
